Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is that every child can learn, make progress, and have fun while doing it.  Partners In Development is dedicated to helping children with developmental disabilities and Autism maximize their potential through the use of the most up to date, research and evidence based practices, namely Applied Behavior Analysis with a focus on Verbal Behavior. PID utilizes BF Skinner’s extensive work on Verbal Behavior and Jack Michael’s research on Motivation to create dynamic, balanced, and engaging programs for children.  We focus on discovering the child’s interests and motivations then using those as an integral part of the learning process.   

We also understand the great need for educators today to be guided in using these practices and implementing them in both the general education and special education classrooms.  We strive to provide educators with knowledge of ABA, VB, and Behavior Interventions while guiding them through the process of utilizing the techniques in their everyday classrooms.
